A lot of my clients tend to forget at first about guest transportation, so let this helpful tip from San Diego Life Events fix that. Include your Uber or Lyft promo code in your Save the Dates and/or Invitations, and remind your guests to have a designated driver. An added benefit: You'll get paid each time someone uses your code!
And OMG YOU GUYS!!! Did you know that you can customize your Uber promo code? Millenials, rejoice!!! Finally, your event or wedding hashtag or can be in even MORE places for all of your guests to see! Here's how:
1. Go to riders.uber.com and login with your Uber app account information
2. Click on Menu ----> Profile
3. Select Invite Code section ---> Customize
4. Create your custom code ----> Claim
5. Uber will add a suffix to keep it unique to you
6. SPREAD THE JOY!!! Event and Wedding hashtags everywhere!!!
P.S. If you prefer to use Lyft, we are pretty sure they also offer the option... We just haven't tried it yet ;)
