Best San Diego Date Night Spots

So you and your babe have been waiting all week for tonight... you've got a sitter for the kids, picked out the perfect outfit, but then you turn to your love and ask them: "Where are we going tonight?" ...only to get that dreaded response, "I thought YOU were choosing!" OMG! You have no idea where you want to go or what you want to do Picking out your outfit was hard enough!

Good thing you stumbled upon this article, we're about to hook you up. We polled our Facebook friends and chose some of our favorite Date Night spots in San Diego:

1. Balboa Park and The Prado

Head over on a Tuesday night, and you will get two appetizers, two entrees, and a bottle of wine for just $40! After you finish up, head out into the park and wander around. Lots to see including museums, fun structures, and greenery. Balboa Park is always magical, especially at night!

2. Coronado: Miguel's Cocina

One of our friends' favorite spots for date night is Miguel's. After enjoying some authentic Mexican cuisine, take a stroll towards the Del and enjoy live music on the weekends. There are even cozy little chairs and fire pits to enjoy.

3. Harbor Island's C Level Lounge

If you want a gorgeous view with your meal, check out C Level or Island Prime! These two spots are right on the bay with sights to Coronado and the San Diego city skyline.

Stop by for a great dining experience, then head down to La Jolla Cove and take a walk along the path. Bonus: Say hello to the sea lions!

5. Dave and Busters in Mission Valley

Who says you can't play video games when you grow up? Not us! Dave and Busters is always a fun date night idea, and with the regular specials they have, it's affordable on any budget! Check it out: In addition to their awesome Happy Hour, they also have 2 for Tuesdays (where they have $2 tacos and margaritas,) 1/2 priced games on Wednesdays, and their famous Eat & Play combo where you can choose a meal for $17 and get a free $10 game card! Can't go wrong with any of that!

Take a walk around town and visit with some of San Diego's favorite local vendors! Enjoy food, drinks, and tchotchke's galore! (Pronounced "chachkis," thanks grandma!) There are always funky fun things to look at, and usually local bands to enjoy. Some of our favorite Farmer's Markets are in Little Italy (Saturdays 8am - 2pm), Ocean Beach (Wednesdays 4pm - 8pm), and Hillcrest (Sundays 9am - 2pm)

How about a dining experience on the water, or just a sightseeing opportunity under the stars? We've found some Hornblower cruise deals for as low as $12 on Groupon, and you really can't beat that.
